Prevent Hair Loss the Natural Way

Natural herbal treatments or vitamins for hair loss at times just slow down or probably even stop hair from falling out. To fight against balding, Provillus is a very effective agent to combat thinning hair. This is an all natural product that actually promotes new, healthy hair growth.

A look at the ingredient list in a Provillus review shows it contains a blend of all the vitamins and natural herbs needed to promote natural hair restoration in one caplet. Two effective traditional remedies recommended by specialists are Saw Palmetto and Nettle, ingredients also used in Provillus.

Correct diet also help prevent hair loss in various ways.Hair loss can also be greatly affected by what we ingest into our systems. Hair loss can be significantly reduced if your diet includes vitamins and supplements specifically formulated against premature balding.

Good diet helps prevent hair loss so a healthy head of hair indicates a likewise healthy body.So to increase the probability of regrowing hair, change your diet into a well-balanced one and also take the supplements.

A diet for regrowing hair must include whole grains, fruits, vegetables, lean proteins like fish and poultry. And eschew processed food, coffee, tea and smoking.

Additional benefits can be had from avoiding these unhealthy foods beyond having healthy hair. Some studies show that alcohol and tobacco can rob or block your body’s ability to absorb nutrients.Reduced hair nutrition translates to faster hair fall and increased loss of hair.

Thus increasing hair nutriiton via vitamins on top of hair loss Supplements can more effectively restore hair. Herbal supplements like saw palmetto, gingko bilboa, and ginseng can prevent hair loss.

Meanwhile, green tea as an antioxidant can reduce hair loss by acting on enzymes that make hair fall.Green tea lowers the feeling of being stressed, a factor of psychosomatic hair loss.

Dong quai and gingko balboa from China are also two traditional herbal solutions to regrow hair. Any compound that promotes blood circulation will improve a healthy scalp which should lead to a reduction in hair loss. The thinning of hair and growth of new ones are also helped by Vitamin B, some amino acids, and the trace minerals magnesium and zinc.

So combining good diet and nutrition with taking herbal treatments for hair loss can restore your healthy head of hair.So to gain back your hair and younger looks, Provillus, a herbal hair loss treatment, can help.

Getting Rid of PMS Without Drugs

PMS (Pre-Menstrual Syndrome) is NOT a real disease, although many women would disagree with me. PMS is actually a product of our modern diet, combined with our daily stress, etc.

There are several chemical changes in the blood of a woman that occur a few days prior to the actual menstrual period, or bleeding cycle. The zinc level goes lower and the copper level goes higher is a major change. Very high copper/zinc ratios can (and do) actually cause schizophrenia and/or depression, it could be said that women slide at least a little towards “crazy” every month.

These imbalances can be very serious in some women. All these changes are individual and depend on current rations of copper and zinc, genetic and other factors. As the female body gets ready for anothr cycle of fertility, there are several other changes. Many women become irritable at least, but there are different symptoms for individuals.  PMS is something that husbands use to explain when the wife gets angry or upset. It’s an “excuse” used at times by some wives as well.

A very simple and inexpensive vitamin/mineral “cure” is available that seems to work for all women. It’s a simple secret. Take B6 and magnesium regularly. Unfortunately, this “word” got out, and some MD’s heard about it, and started their patients on large doses of B6. MD’s, knowing little about vitamin interaction, called this “B6 toxicity when different women developed other problems, and B6 got a bad reputation. B6 was then written up by some “learned experts” as toxic in large quantities.

The truth, known to all scientists who have studied vitamin and mineral interaction, is much simpler.Taking large doses of any one B vitamin may cause a “deficiency” in some others.  Thus, if you are going to take large doses of B6, you MUST be taking at least a 50 Mg B complex at the same time. All B complex vitamins are needed working together in synergism.)

THIS IS CRITICAL TO AVOID PROBLEMS, AND YOU’LL BE IN BETTER HEALTH AS A RESULT AS WELL.
As for magnesium, there is a built-in body response to too much – Diarrhea. Magnesium Sulphate (Epsom Salts), is an old laxative, tastes bitter, and a little goes a long way. Magnesium Citrate from your local health food store is easier than the terrible tasting Epsom Salts.

On my website, there is a page devoted to a basic vitamin mineral regimen. Solgar VM-75 is the multi I’ve used for over 25 years. Since it contains 75 mg of all the B vitamins, it solves the above problem, and probably many other health problems as well.  No woman who has followed my advice on this has ever had a problem with excess B6.

I make no money (and don’t even get a discount) from Solgar.  I recommend it because it works. My recommendations for magnesium and calcium balance are also on that webpage.

To avoid PMS completely, how much B6 should you take? That’s a tough question to answer, as everyone is different. The usual recommendation is to try taking about 200 mg per day at least 10 days prior to the menstrual period and see if you have PMS.Cut down, or go up gradually to find your optimum dosage. Keep experimenting until you find your correct dosage. Remember that you are the best judge of your health. Take either a multi that provides at least 50 mg of the B complex (or Solgar VM-75) daily with this B6 dosage.

If 200 mg doesn’t clear up the PMS completely, try 250 mg, or try taking the 200 for the whole month. Individual response varies. My wife, when I first met her over 20 years ago had very bad PMS. Starting at 200 mg per day, she had no PMS. A month or so later, she got quite twitchy, and remarked “You know if I didn’t know better, I’d think I was having PMS. I’m feeling bad, and I’m craving salty foods.”

When I told her that I had cut her down to 100 mg she got very angry at me. She went back up each month, and we found t. A year or so later, she no longer needed the B6, as the VM-75 did it for her. She hasn’t had PMS since. This experience is typical for most women. I hope it helps you.

Socialized Medicine – Good or Bad

Where did we get the idea in the US that Socialized Medicine is a bad thing?  How did the AMA, Big Pharma, and now Big Insurance get such a stranglehold on the health of this country?

Let’s look at some facts:

1.  Some form of Socialized Medicine is the health system.in every industrialized country.

2.Our “insurance run” health system costs us twice as much per person as any of the other countries. We should have better health statistic, but we rank way below all those countries, even some third world countries.

3.  We are less competitive for large corporations, so they ship manufacturing (and jobs) overseas.Yes, wages may be lower as well, but a lower cost of health care increases their profit.

4.We are crippling many small businesses with having to provide health insurance to their workers.  Since small business is at the heart of US prosperity, Socialzed Medicine would greatly  benefit all such.

5.  The VA system is a form of sociaized medicine, and the cost per person is much lower than the “insurance based” system, and the better care patients get is also a fact.  (I know as I am a veteran getting that care.)

One of the arguments used is “Just ask a Canadian, they all hate their system”.So, I’ve asked many Canadians and British, French, Italians, Russians and Geaorgians.Ask a GI about the military food, and they’ll gripe, just like Canadians and others gripe about their health system.  However, ask the RIGHT question as I have, “Would you trade your system for the one in the US?”  The answer, almost 100% of the time is a resounding “NO way!”

The advantages are obvious – lower cost and better overall health. How about those 42 million persons who cannot afford health insurance, and who drag our statistics down and cost us more in the long run.

Drugless Therapy for Mental Problems of ADD/ADHD and Autism

A new drugless therapy that works on most mental problems is available. It has NO bad side effects.  This new solution to these problems is affordable even to low income families.  (Unlike the effective, but very expensive EEG Biofeedback (AKA Neurofeedback or Neurotherapy).  Neuroliminal Training (NT) changes brain wave amplitudes in a different simpler way than EEG Biofeedback.  While most call it simply “Neuroliminal”, or “NT”, the full name is “Neuroliminal Brain Wave Training”.  (There’s a Patent Pending on this new usage of subliminal messaging).

How does it work?  It uses a special combination of speech and audio sounds combined in a subliminal message on a repeating CD.  This type of repetitive message is actually “beneficial brainwashing”.  This therapy has been proven very effective for not only ADD/ADHD and Autism, but also for depression, insomnia, and even epilepsy.  In January 2007, a volunteer test with 11 autistic kids ranging in age from 3 ½ to 11 showed the same overall improvement in an 8 week reporting period as would be expected in a similar group using EEG Biofeedback.  Even more significant, of nearly 200 Autism CD packages sold, only 2 have been returned under the guarantee  (“Noticeable improvement within 6-8 weeks or return for refund”).

Earlier tests (2004) showed both depression and Insomnia problems were solved within a few weeks or less.  In tests in 2005/6, over 20 ADD/ADHD sufferers in a volunteer test all solved these symptoms within 8 weeks.  They are now able to sit in class, concentrate, and learn.  IQ scores also improved considerably.  With Ritalin and other drugs, IQ is often affected adversely.  We waste many of our brightest kids this way – Why?

What are the drawbacks?  Changing brain wave amplitudes takes time.  Even using EEG Biofeedback (AKA  Neurofeedback or Neurotherapy), it takes 50-60 sessions for most ADHD cases and hundreds of sessions for autism cases.  THERE ARE NO QUICK SOLUTIONS TO MENTAL PROBLEMS.

Why does it work?  Why does raising one brain wave (called SMR 12-14 Hz) do so much for mental problems?  For the past 40 years EEG biofeedback has been proving this works, but no one knows exactly why.  We don’t know exactly how it works, but we do know how to use it. Like hypnosis and electricity.

I voiced a theory that stated “Increasing the amplitude of the SMR brain wave, SOMEHOW changes the affect on the brain of allergens” in 2000 at a conference.  There is a huge body of anecdotal evidence that this theory is correct, and there is still no viable alternate that explains the huge success of either EEG Biofeedback or Neuroliminal Training.  Both are similar in success rates. The only real difference is a huge difference in cost and convenience.

More and more, our kids are being treated with dangerous drugs that do not “cure” anything, just attack the symptoms, and dull the perceptions and reflexes of the kids.  Drugs never really solve such problems, they just relieve some symptoms, and their side-effects all too often lead to worse problems.  Neuroliminal Training has no danger of bad side effects.
