Colon Cleanse Facts - Decide On Excellent Advice on Novel Products

The incidence of colon cancer is second only to that of lung cancer. More and more people are diagnosed with this form of cancer every year. Are the harmful remnants of fecal matter in the intestine to blame for the increase in colon cancer cases?

Health experts say that colon cleansing has no effect on colon health. They claim that it will certainly not prevent disease, and it may in fact be harmful. Many people, however, are turning to this method as a means for maintaining good health.

The effects of colon cancer and other colon-related illnesses can be painful and long-lasting. Besides affecting the quality of life of the patient, it can become so severe that a colostomy is required. A colostomy is the surgical removal of portions of the intestine.

When a significant amount of the small intestine is removed, it results in a colostomy bag, where fecal matter is no longer excreted through traditional methods, and is, instead, detoured into a bag that must be emptied on a regular basis.

Preventing this extreme procedure is the key. Cancer or other disorders of the colon are not always preventable, but there is a percentage of situations where problems are avoidable by maintaining good colon health through colonic irrigation and a healthy diet. You may even want to try the best colon cleanse out there.

Those trying to maintain colon health through diet typically avoid artificial foods and preservatives, such as high fructose corn syrup and hydrogenated oils. These foods can attack your colon because they are not easily digested and excreted; this may make the colon more susceptible to illness.

The toxicity of regular food is capable on its own of causing disease and cancer, but in tandem with synthetic chemicals, the liklihood for severe damage skyrockets.

Eating foods that are laden with chemicals and synthetic ingredients constantly challenges your colon and digestive system as a whole. This can result in the body being unable to absorb and process nutrients, which in turn can lead to chronic constipation.

If this happens, bowel movements are typically smaller. Many people do not even notice that they have a problem because they are still having bowel movements. What they don’t realize is that the lining of their intestines are being coated with fecal matter that is not passing.

This can effect general health, because suffers become malnourished without knowing a problem even exists. Implementing a healthy diet will help minimize this problem. Natural foods pass naturally.

When build up has already occurred, a dietary change may work as a preventative measure, but it will not cure the problem. Many experts believe that 5 to 20 lbs of fecal matter can exist within the colon at any given time.

Such high amounts can leave you feeling generally unwell. Colonic irrigation through means of a laxative or hydrotherapy cleanses the bowels entirely, giving your colon a fresh start at absorbing the nutrients it has been missing.

Not only will this improve your overall health, but many people report weight loss from multiple cleansings.

Symptoms that may suggest you would benefit from a colon cleansing are usually subtle, as they can occur for many reasons. Some examples include diarrhea, insomnia, difficulty with weight loss, constipation, abdominal gas, prostate problems, fatigue, headaches and backaches.

If you experience any of these symptoms, your colon may be trying to tell you something. Listen and improve your health. Colon Cleansing: The Next New Fad?

Colon cleansing has become increasingly popular in recent years, but it’s been around for ages. Early mentions of colon cleansing date back to biblical times, and today’s health food stores have shelves lined with different colon cleansers.

But why has the popularity of colon cleansing increased so much in recent years? Certainly, part of it is due to the popularity of the Master Cleanse and other programs designed to cleanse the body. A body cleansing program removes a great deal of stored toxic waste from the body, and as these programs are marketed, people regularly talk about how much waste is trapped in the average person’s colon and in body. There are even some pretty incredible pictures of the filth that has been removed by colon cleansing. And more people are becoming aware of the need for colon cleansing, because more and more people are talking about it.

Diets and lifestyles have also changed a great deal in the last fifty years and even more so in the last hundred years. In general, people are eating more processed foods, and less natural foods. The combination tends to allow more waste to build in the colon, where it sits uneliminated, because the high fiber content of natural foods that is meant to push the waste out of the body is often missing. Unfortunately, though, when this waste sits in the colon, it putrefies, and the end result is often disease for the person that carries it.

In fact, some natural health care professionals believe that all disease begins in the colon and that all disease can be attributed to toxins stored in the body. However, through the use of colon cleansing methods like colonics, enemas, and colon cleansing products, a great deal of this filth can be removed from the body forever. And when the body and colon are really cleansed though deep body cleansing, it’s quite common for health problems disappear.

What Is Body Odor?

Have you ever wondered what body odor is and where exactly it comes from?

I bet you’d be surprised to know that body odor is often a sign of internal toxicity - and an indication of the need for colon cleansing. Have you seen any of the pictures on the Internet of rather enormous amounts of filth being released from the body through colon cleansing? Many companies that sell colon cleansing products will have some of these images for your viewing pleasure on thier Websites.

You might be shocked at the images of filth that most people carry inside their bodies these days. You might also be surprised to learn that most people carry ten or more pounds of uneliminated waste in their colon walls, and they’ve been adding to it since childhood. And at some point, it’ll start to produce an odor.

This may be new to you, so let’s back up a bit and look at why this is the case.

Well, modern diets aren’t exactly what nature intended for us to eat. Nature intended for us to be eating large amounts of fruits, vegetables, greens, beans, nuts, seeds, rice, and maybe an occasional fish or other animal - and importantly, not much else.

Since stoves and ovens didn’t come in the nature package, most of our food would be raw, or uncooked, and the fiber and enzymes in those foods still intact. It’s how our ancestors lived for millions of years, and it’s a diet designed to push the waste from our colon right out of our bodies quickly and easily. Did you notice that cheeseburgers, French fries, candy bars, and margaritas weren’t on the list? Neither was pasta or potato chips. In fact, eating the diet that nature intended for us is rather an anomaly these days, and for our parent’s generation as well.

And with this deviation, of course, there’s going to be an effect.

The effect is that waste doesn’t get pushed out of our bodies as quickly as it should. You might be surprised to know that in the few remote cultures on Earth that still follow a natural diet, it’s common for the people to have three bowel movements each day: one about thirty minutes after each meal. But in most cultures today, that too is an anomaly. When you see and understand how much filth most people carry in their colons today, you’ll understand why it’s common for people to produce a body odor, after just a few hours without bathing.
